Best nail bar in Stevenage !!!! 🤩🥰
I love this place as much as I love Vietnam ! Tbh, they are so understanding but I feel a bit rushy. However their service is sooo good and worthy. I have been going to this nail bar since 5 months and never I was disappointed. Staff are so lovely. There was a man who was checking if I was doing okay because as I had my nails redone again today !!!! I would recommend it for suree. 🫰♥️
First time I've had acrylics and very happy with them. Always managed to fit me in. Staff are friendly. Very happy with the work. Fair price.
Loved this salon, was extremely busy although they were kind and patient with me. Considering I was late for my appointment they still did my nails and they did them really well. They have lasted weeks and are still solid, I had biab which I prefer.
They only take cash though so be warned .
Went in here today for my second time. First time I was so pleased today not so much. Granted it was busy and appreciate that however that does not mean the quality should slip. I asked for infills was sat down quickly. Asked what color I wanted I had a photo that I tried to show them just for guidance or help really, zero interest the response was you still need to look at this and the color chart things given too me which are pretty difficult to look at with one hand being worked on at the time. The end result isn’t horrific but they are thick, look bumpy in places and upon further inspection once I got back to my car one hand isn’t the same as the other when it comes to length and of course I picked a colour out of pressure as I could tell he was getting fed up with me taking ages to decide hence the photo I had and the help I asked for. So disappointed as this place was recommended to me and my first time was brilliant I was so pleased with them. Maybe it’s due to the layers of thickly applied gel polish as the first go was what I think is called gel powder. I did debate going back but I don’t do public displays and would have felt uncomfortable. I will try again when they next need doing and ask for something different and perhaps specify that I don’t want them to look thick from the side.
It was my first time doing my nails in Stevenage. Everybody was polite and they were on time for my appointment. I booked a manicure with gelish and I don’t know if this is the way that they do it but the polish doesn’t covered properly, all different lengths and I wasn’t happy with the result. The guy who did my nails was very polite and honestly I was so shy to tell them that I wasn’t happy with the result. You can see more details with my picture and video. 🥲
Had a full set of nails, which turned out nice, so I was happy with them, but I also had a pedicure, which wasn't so great. The person doing my feet looked disinterested and hardly made an effort when removing any hard skin I had on my heels. It was like she was daydreaming and staring into space. My heels still had some hard skin on it, so it's not worth the money and will go elsewhere where the chair massages your back because there's don't.
Been coming here intermittently for the past 8 years. In recent years had gel as i have today. I had appointment. I felt rushed my the young lad, not the usual and felt mannerism abrupt and rude. I also felt rushed. I was wanting a pattern the he stated he couldn't do. There was a young girl. He could of checked with her. I compromised for a slight easy pattern, which was failed to be done. I may give another chance this year, tho if it has again then I am sorry i wont be going back.
The first time I came here I was impressed. My nail tech was lovely, the prices were okay and I was so happy with my nails! Came back for infills a few weeks later, under the impression this shop allowed bank transfer for payments (as I did this before and was told again that would be fine). This time, my nail tech was rude. I’m not overly sensitive but I know when someone is being hostile. I told her what I wanted and she told me she would be unable to due to me accidentally dying my nails. I was a bit gutted but didn’t argue. I let her do my nails with little to no nail prep (the first time I came there was also no nail prepping which I found odd but didn’t question). The nail tech was rushing my nails and constantly grabbing me so I was basically leaning in quite uncomfortably. I asked her if I could check the bank details I have before sending the payment and she asked if I could get cash out. I said I couldn’t unfortunately as I’ve come today under the impression I can do bank transfer (I had issues with my bank so husband was transferring for me). She huffed when I explained and didn’t say anything else so I assumed it was okay.
I then overheard a phone call from the guy who books people in, where he told someone the price for infills and gels (exactly what I was having) and there was obviously a moan on the phone about the price so then he said “Okay it’ll be £22” soooo why am I sitting here like a pleb paying £28?!
When it came to paying I asked the guy to check the bank info I had saved from before and he asked if I could take cash out. I explained the situation and that I had been made aware that I could pay by bank transfer. He caused a scene and basically refused to accept it so I said I’d try getting cash back. I was unlucky so went back to the shop and told them I’d have to do transfer as I had already been advised to do! There was more back and forth until I made it clear it’s either transfer for I can’t pay.
They accepted it so I sent the money, even adding an extra £7 for the inconvenience for them to tell me and the rest of the shop that it hasn’t come through! I showed them the receipt and everything and they made me wait there for 10 mins while they looked properly.
After that, I’ve come home and a few days later (defo less than a week) my nails have started chipping! Both gels on my thumbs have peeled off completely, and my other nails have chipped so look awful!
I will not be back here under any circumstances. The customer service is shocking and quality of work pretty bad tbh.
